Our Work
We have an expressed commitment to creating BIPOC-led housing and land projects; our work centers around mutual-aid, peer-learning, and community building to support these projects in their inception and longevity. From co-ops and intentional communities and community farms and food sovereignty projects; we understand collaboration and shared inspiration will support our land dreams.

POC Housing Resource Page
The primary drive behind our organization is to supply regenerative and safe(r) housing opportunities for POC in the Bay Area. Via our 5,000+ member Facebook page, we offer an environment for folx interested in cooperative, collective, and affordable housing to match with roommates and land projects.

Community Brews
A virtual, monthly space for peer-learning and connection across far distances of POC housing advocates. With attendees from all across the country, and globe– we offer a POC Land Stewards and Housing Justice discussion space where we learn about each other’s projects and share resources and updates. We cover topics from creating a membership, real estate basics, CLT education, and more!
3
Land Work Days
In the spirit of mutual aid and the commons, POCSHN hosts bi-monthly Land Work Days at various BIPOC-led food and housing projects across the Bay Area. To create solidarity between the struggle for food sovereignty and equitable land access, we bring a spirited group of POCSHN members from across the East Bay (and beyond!) to put our labor where our mouth is and support projects that are making progress to land liberation!
Want to host a work day? Send us an email with your name, location of the proposed work day, and date options of when you would like some volunteers (we need at least a month lead time).

Co-Housing Tours
We are a network of individuals, land projects, and organizations who hope to promote and advocate for resources for POC-led housing and land projects. With our co-housing tours, we welcome individuals who are interested in starting land projects, or want to see how others do it, to get up close and personal with co-ops and co-living projects in Northern California. This helps ignite and sustain the movement to regenerative land projects by supporting them and raising awareness about the land visionaries in our community.
