About the event

Since our founding in 2015, POCSHN and its members have been integral forces in various housing collectives, land projects, organizations and more. But, in that time, we had never formally engaged our network to find out what their specific needs and goals were around housing or, what role they believed POCSHN could play in that process.

Fast-forward to August 2022 when we debuted our first-ever POCSHN Survey! Over the course of the following months, we received dozens of thoughtful responses from across our network. Since closing the survey at the end of last year, we've spent time reviewing and analyzing the results.

We are excited to invite you to our reportback session to share what we learned from this process and discuss how that will inform our next steps as an organization.

This event will be in-person at the PLACE Community Hub in North Oakland. Masks are required to enter the meeting space (note: the room has high ceilings and is well-ventilated).

Light refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you there!

More about PLACE:

PLACE is a community and educational hub located on Huichin Territory -- Ohlone Chochenyo Native lands (in North Oakland). As an educational and maker-space organization, they have been extending community space as a tool and resource for healing, organizing, and co-creating art, visions, and equitable systems. As a community, PLACE is deeply committed to a decolonized vision of community and connection to one another and our planet. They work to center those most impacted by colonial and capitalistic marginalization to realize this vision for justice and equity.
